From Beyers Naude, take the N1 south and then take the 14^th Avenue off ramp.

At the bottom of the off-ramp turn right.

At the third robot, just after you have gone under the second flyover, turn Right onto the M47 to Krugersdorp, or also known as the R47 to Tarlton.

Travel for 14km through many sets of Traffic lights till you get to a big intersection with traffic lights and a Sasol garage across the intersection on the left.

Here you will see signs saying N14 to Ventersdorp.

Proceed straight across the intersection and travel for 10km till you come to a T-Junction. Turn Right (N14 to Ventersdorp). There is a Zenex garage on your left and shortly after this garage you will bear left following the signs to Ventersdorp.

Proceed for another 10km till you come to a Stop Street with signs to R 24 to Rustenburg. Turn right here.

Proceed for 14.4 km and you will arrive at the town of Magaliesburg.

Proceed through the town (Spar on your left) and then you will signs for R 509 to Koster.

Bear left after the Spar following the signs to the R509 to Koster.

Proceed for 10.5 km.

You will see signs for “Western Cane” to your right and you will see a brown sign for “Tops”, turn left towards “Tops”. (The Road to the left is just after “Western Cane”).

Travel for 3.5km at which time you will go through a dip with a small bridge.

Turn right onto the dirt road.

Travel for about 700m and then bear left at the top of the hill, then you will see Shalom 300m along the road on your left.

Please note that are a lot of speed traps on this route, especially in and around Magaliesburg, so stick to the speed limits!!
